I have been experimenting with a new blog site. I like it. Not sure I'm ready to abandon this one completely, but I'm tempted.
I will keep this one up for the archive if for no other reason...but for more up to date info on what Mark and I (and the critters) are getting into, check us out here.
Hope to see you soon!

You may remember that a few weeks ago we were forced to put down one of our beloved barn cats. We are lucky to have a wonderful vet that is available to come to our farm and assess injury and illness...and when necessary is able to end suffering.
But what we are also lucky to have is a wonderful vet who is able to find us lovely lovely cats who need loving homes. Through our vet we've acquired some of our best barn kitties. (Leroy, Slate and Tommie) Now we'd like to introduce you to Amore...or Lovey for short. What a super sweet kitty she is. We adore her...and think she will fit in just fine. Her color rocks too!

Remember this?

Well she's at it again...I'm happy to report she exited unscathed.

Mark's sister gave our kitties a Christmas gift. And they LOVE it. Billy seems to be in it the most. But who's keeping track?

Did I say that Mark and I are eager to get our new woodstove installed? We decided to put a flameless candle inside to 'see' what it will look like. I know...we got it bad.

Since we are eagerly awaiting the installation of our new wood stove, we decided to buy a cord of wood. We are ready to burn. We got a great workout and set up a great photo opp. NICE!

There's a theme here...can you see it?

What can I say? Brilliant minds think alike...sort of. Santa brought Mark a new equestrian riding helmet and he brought me a new motocross helmet. It's nice to know our melons are protected.

Today I picked up my new trailer. An Adam ProStock 2 horse slant load. Holy cow is this thing flippin amazing. I can't wait to haul to Pretty Boy in the Spring. I'm gonna cork all my horses butts...so they don't poop in it.

Get it? Tree...Ball. That's ME in the BALL! Cool huh? We got nearly 20 inches of snow...man does it make the farm beautiful...hard to believe the beauty of our farm can be improved...but it was.
